• We operate under the principles of Privacy by Design and Data Minimization, ensuring we only collect what is strictly necessary to provide our services.

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU/UK).
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
• For the purposes of these laws, Mindefy acts as the Data Fiduciary (India) or Data Controller (EU).

To deliver digital wellbeing features, YourHour requires specific permissions. We confirm that:

• Accessibility Service API: Used exclusively to detect when a "Blocked App" is in the foreground to provide a usage timer or overlay. We do NOT monitor keystrokes, read private messages, or collect any personal data via this API.
• Usage Access: Required to calculate daily phone usage and addiction levels.
• Overlay Permission: Required to display the "Floating Timer" over other apps.

We process data only when:

• We have your Explicit Consent.
• It is necessary to perform a Contract (e.g., providing a service you requested).
• It is necessary for Legitimate Interests (e.g., preventing fraud or improving app security).

No Sale of Data: We never sell your personal information.

• Service Providers: We use trusted partners like Google Analytics for Firebase (for crash reports) and Google AdMob (for ads). These partners may collect device identifiers (AD_ID) governed by their own privacy policies.

Security: We use industry-standard encryption and secure server infrastructure.

• Retention: Business inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to fulfill the service. YourHour data stays on your device and is permanently erased when you uninstall the app.

Under the DPDP Act and GDPR, you have the right to:

• Right to Correction/Erasure: Update or delete your personal data.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke permissions at any time via device settings.
• Right to Grievance Redressal: Contact our Grievance Officer regarding any privacy concerns.
• Right to Nominate: (India) Nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.

In compliance with the DPDP Act (India), we do not knowingly process personal data of children under 18 years without verifiable parental consent. Our services are directed at a general audience.
